Relocating to the Rio Grande Valley? Welcome (Bienvenido)
Relocations can be very stressful, but with proper
planning the move will be smoother.
I have first hand experience as a "relo". After a
twenty-year absence, I returned (relocated) to the Valley.
In 1984, I graduated from high school in Brownsville and
left for the University of Texas at Austin. During the
1990's, I worked for international corporations
that operated in the Valley, Mexico, and South America, but
lived in Dallas. After becoming Director of Finance for a
national homebuilder in the Rio Grande Valley, I sold my
house in Dallas and built a new one in Edinburg, Texas.

The right agent can make the move much easier!
Please feel free to explore this website and learn more about "the
Valley". Within the city pages, we included a section for local schools.
Every year, the Texas Education Agency evaluates every school in the
state and assigns a rating based on student performance on a
standardized test.
Exemplary is the highest rating. Fourteen elementary
schools in the area have achieved this status (eight in Edinburg,
three in McAllen and three in Mission). We sorted the MLS database
by these Elementary Schools. This may help narrow your search from
the entire city to specific neighborhoods.
